This month, I’m covering the quiet luxury trend, outside-in spaces, my 10 second design tip, and more.
Hello friends,
Welcome to the first edition of my “life designed well” monthly update. When I set about designing it, I wanted to craft a unique way to keep in touch with you, while also offering valuable design tips, recent projects, trend spotlights, before and after photos, and idea books to keep you in the loop about all things interior design. I truly hope you find it helpful and engaging. This month, I’m covering the quiet luxury trend, outside-in spaces, my 10 second design tip, and more.
If you need anything or if you have a space that needs my special touch, please know that I’m always here for you. My priority is to capture your style and delight you through the process.

A favorite before & after! We completely gutted and reconfigured this primary bathroom for a long-time client. What a showstopper!
Quiet Luxury: Just as blingy, loud, and over-the-top home design is on its way out, “Quiet Luxury” is here to stay. You’ll see a continued emphasis on timeless investment pieces that you can build a room around…things that evolve through the years with re-upholstery. Think soft textures, rich woods, and comfortable real-world classics.
The landscape of a home’s surrounding area can play a pivotal role in shaping much of a home’s style, features, and finishes. The “Modern Sunset House” in Scottsdale, Arizona, crafted by AFT Construction, Cosan Studio, and Alisha Taylor Interiors epitomizes the connection between inside and out: living spaces spill seamlessly outside, expansive windows and open spaces frame the views, and thoughtfully planned heating and shading features ensure the exterior spaces can be used any time of year. Inside, the interior design echoes the soft tones found throughout the exterior landscape.

There are so many creative variations of hanging chairs for both interior and exterior spaces, and some of the most popular are the “bubble,” “recliner,” and the “leather SLING” chair. Pictured above is the “wheel circular hanging chair swing seat.”
Love It Or Leave It: What do you think? Can you imagine one of these in your space?

Robin is an exceptional designer. She is an extremely easy person with which to work. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of her work. I have employed her services on two projects in the past couple of years. Excellent value with each project. I couldn’t be happier with the way the rooms have turned out. I can’t wait to work on another project with her.
