You may be wondering—how does the design process work? We would love to share that with you! It is always our desire that you feel comfortable working with us. Our goal is to make working with a designer fun, exciting and non-intimidating.
This is where you get to be the star! We want to discover your likes and dislikes, what is and is not working for you in your home and what you hope to accomplish working with us. Some things we want to understand include how will you use the space(s) we will be working on, what your overall aesthetic is and how you want your space to feel. This is the meeting we would love to see your inspiration images and obtain current floor plans or architect’s plans you may have.
At RGI, we specialize in extensive remodels and working with clients on new construction homes. If you are remodeling or building with us, this phase will be very important. During schematic design, we will present floor plan change options as well as elevations for your approval. If the builder or architect will be providing these plans, RGI will work alongside the parties to achieve the best design for you!
This step is where the magic happens and we bring our collaborative vision to life! We accomplish this through design boards and material samples. This 2 step approach ensures that you really visualize how the project will come together. During this phase, we always encourage client feedback. Based on your feedback, we will tweak the design to make sure everyone is on the same page and thrilled with the look and how the space will function. At RGI, we always believe in a collaborative effort between the client and the firm and we don’t stop until you are 100 % satisfied!
Once we have agreed on the design, finishes and furnishings (if applicable), RGI will order all the items to be delivered to our commercial receiver. We will then coordinate delivery and installation for a beautiful reveal. We work with top notch vendors for drapery and art installation as well as furniture specialists who take excellent care of your new furnishings. After all the finishing touches have been added, it’s time for you to sit back, relax and enjoy your incredible new home design!
